Task-1. The Peacock.


The peacock is a beautiful bird.

It is the national bird of India.

It has a body of shining blue colour.

Its long green feathers have golden eyes on them.

The peacock looks very attractive when it spreads its feathers.

It dances beautifully, especially during the rainy season.

It eats germs, worms and tender shoots of plants.

Peacocks usually live close to villages.

People love to watch the peacock dance.

The peacock is one of the most graceful birds in nature.
